ABOUT: Sensenig Poultry Farm is a 3rd generation Mennonite family farm located in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. These turkeys are raised happy and healthy in barns (not cages) with full exposure to sunlight and fresh air as all sides are open. They are grain fed by mostly the crops grown on the property (non-GMO). The turkeys are freshly dressed (never frozen, only air chilled to bring temperature down quickly) at the farm days prior to delivery with no preservatives, no growth hormones, no antibiotics, and no animal by-products.
AVAILABLE: Whole Turkeys ($2.49Lb) sizes: 12-14lbs, 14-16lbs, 16-18lbs, 18-20lbs, 20-22lbs, 22-24lbs (smaller ones will go fast, we’ll have the most of the 14-16 & 16-18lbers). Fresh Bone-in Turkey Breasts ($3.49Lb) 6-8lbs (while supplies last, will go fast).
STORAGE: After purchase of our fresh turkeys they can be stored in the back of your refrigerator until December 1st. After December 1st, they need to be frozen. Turkeys can frozen up to a year and must be fully thawed before cooking.
COOKING & SERVING SIZE: Standard temp and time is 350 degrees for 15-20 mins per pound. We recommend 1 pound per adult person. Baking times and serving sizes may vary. (View chart below)
