SARASOTA.—The grand opening of the new Detwiler’s Farm Market in Sarasota, FL will be Wednesday, November 20th.
In lieu of a traditional ribbon cutting, there will be a ceremonial “pie cutting” at 7:30 a.m. to kick off the grand opening.
The first 500 customers inside the store (ages 18 and older) will receive Detwiler’s gift cards ranging from $5 to $500. All kids stopping by will receive a free ice cream scoop. There will be sales and products unique to this new Detwiler’s location.
President Sam Detwiler says, “We’re excited to bring a larger store to south Sarasota. Our family thought Merchants Point would be a great location to serve our local customers better. We look forward to serving you here!”
The new Detwiler’s store will be almost twice as big as the University location (44,000sq ft) with expanded departments throughout the store plus a health and wellness department full of name brand vitamins and supplements, a fresh made sushi station along with a hot food bar that will feature a new Detwiler Farm Bowl.
The store’s hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday—and like all Detwiler’s Farm Markets, it will be closed on Sundays.
